AARON &
CLARET

We’re Getting Married!

Claret & Aaron request the pleasure of your company as we join in marriage within the presence of family and friends.

We'll start with a ceremony within the Ripoll family chapel, then move onto the reception venue of La Baronia to start the celebration and feasting.

WHERE

The Ceremony

Sant Llop

The Family Chapel

Sant Vicenç de Montalt, Barcelona, Spain

Pre-wedding Party.

Join us for an informal get together of family and friends where we can relax, have a drink, eat some food and maybe even go for a swim!

International Travellers

We would love for everyone to make it to our special day, however we are aware that attending this event will require those who live outside of Spain to potentially travel vast distances and book time off work, both of which may not be possible, and that’s okay, don’t worry about it, we can catch up another time!

The idea of hosting the wedding within Spain was a no-brainer as that’s where the large majority of people will be coming from (the weather might have also helped a bit as well…), so sincere apologies to those who won’t be able to make it.

Those who are okay with making the journey to Spain to join us on our special day, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, it means so much to us! With the wedding being on a Friday, it’ll hopefully give you a nice excuse to have a long weekend in Barcelona, and a much needed day of recovery on Saturday (as free drinks at the bar will be happening, as per Spanish wedding traditions…).

Can’t wait to see you all there! 🥳

Accommodation

You’re obviously free to start booking your own accommodation as soon as possible if you’d like, however please know that from February 2025 we’ll be getting in contact with local hotels with the aim to get our guest preferential booking rates.

If you’re interested in taking advantage of these rates and staying in the same hotel as many of the other guests then let us know and we’ll put your name down.

FAQ’s

Food

Food is a massive part of Spanish culture, so be rest assured that there will be plenty of it (don’t get too full on the welcome snacks!). Food is likely to be served no earlier than 4pm, so have a strong breakfast.

Drinks

It wouldn’t be a Spanish wedding without an open bar. Don’t fret, drinks won’t run out so don’t feel like you have to rush through them before the free session runs out (as it won’t)!

Dress Code

Dress as you like, be yourself. It’ll be a smart occasion so no jeans, t-shirts, trainers, etc.

If you were looking for an excuse to dress up and get a new outfit for the occasion then we do have a colour theme (see below), however don’t feel like you have to follow it if you don’t want to.

P.S. You’re welcome to bring a spare pair of shoes for the
evening if you’d like to dance comfortably.

Weather

We’ve purposely chosen the end of September knowing it’ll likely be a comfortably warm time of year to host the wedding. Forecasts are usually around 25°C, but with La Baronia located on a bit of a hill in the middle of a forest we’d suggest bringing an extra layer for the evening.

Pool

Yes, there is a pool at La Baronia (next to the open bar 🤦🏼‍♂️)
No, we can’t use it. If you do jump in it, you’ll be required to pay for the whole wedding 😊

+1s and Children

We would love to invite EVERYONE, but unfortunately our budget isn’t unlimited…
We will make sure to specify every guest that is invited and whether a +1 is included.

RSVP

We are planning on sending RSVP’s around May/June 2025, however if you already know that you won’t be able to attend then please let us know.

Gifts

Many of you are travelling from afar to celebrate with us in Barcelona, so your presence means the world to us and is all we ask for. But if you wish to give a gift as well, a cash gift to put towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.
